This video filmed last fall in New York City’s Chinatown is posted at ConsumerEyes.com a major New York based Marketing Firm. It covers well-known and unknown Chinese herbs that protect health and well-being–from teas, mushrooms, and heart-protector herbs to snakes used for medicine.
Conde Nast Traveler magazine (Spain) November, 2009 Renown fashion photographer Nils Schlebusch took this classy photo of me for the November issue of Conde Nast Traveler magazine (Spain) which features New York. My last walking tour of Chinatown for 2009 will be November 7th through NY Open Center.
I have scheduled a number of walking tours through Asian food and herb markets this fall. I have been teaching walking tours of Chinatown and Little India through NY Open Center for 25 years. This October we’ll have our first tour of Koreatown. (See my “teachings” section on the Home Page of this website.) Swine flu germs remain in the air and in your nose long after you have lost symptoms. A sneeze can be dangerous at these times. I plan to wear a face mask on the street that I will remove while teaching. A number of Asian foods and herbs are very useful for preventing and treating flu.
